All Thanx To The Rain
It all began with a tear, rolling down her cheek.
That tear started from something man made, money.
Then she became aggravated.
As the tears began to fall she put on some shoes and left the house,
letting the door slam behind her.
The pounding sound on the pavement came from the force she had with each stride.
As the tears came down, so did the rain.
The more tears, the more it rained.
The rain didn't hide the tears, it flowed with them, like a band,
playing to it's own beat.
All thanx to the rain she was able to do nothing but run.
The water falling on her felt refreshing.
All thanx to the rain, she began to smile.
She found a place away from technology and anything man made.
It was her own secret getaway for now and times to come.
On the outside, she had wished for a fantasy, mythical creatures and such.
But deep down all she cared about was the reality that stood before her.
She didn't need fantasy, she needed the leaves for comfort,
and the branches from the trees as warmth.
With each step she felt more and more at home.
As she left, moments later, her hand brushed along side a branch,
creating a slight rainshower onto her body.
She turned and said, "I shall call you fairy dust."
From that day forward she knew if ever she needed another smile on her face,
she would remember the fairy dust she had collected, all thanx to the rain.
A Step Out Of Reality
I feel like I've taken a step out of reality, as though I'm living a dream.
Can I stay asleep for a little while longer?
May I call you mine until it's legit and then afterwardscall you mine forever?
I just met you so I don't know you all that well, but I have to say I already like you.
I wish I knew how to pour my heart to you without you running away.
I'm not here to be obsessive, I just know I like you.
How does that sound if we take a step outside of reality, can I stay asleep for a little while longer?
I will pour my heart to you if you promise to do the same.
It's my desire to already know how you feel.
So this doesn't seem to be too much for you, can we take a step out of reality together?
ONE IN THE SAME
My life, your life are one in the same.
So express yourself, and let me go after,
and even though we may have different views,
accept me for who I am,
and I will do
the same
for you.
REMIND ME
I feel as though I know you?
You seem familiar,
as though we have met before.
I can’t quite put it all together
so when you figure it out,
remind me who you are.
BIRD
I was walking just the other day.
I saw a bird that would not fly.
I went to check it out.
When I came close,
it flew away.
I’m hoping it will come back some day.
FEAR
I pushed you away
because I was afraid to pull you in.
I let my past affect us.
I live in fear of letting anyone come too close.
I'm sorry for letting my barrier stand tall.

Peace comes to the palace,
wearing every bright color it can find,
it surrounds the world with its presence.
DISCOMFORT
Discomfort lies in my stomach like a million butterflies.
It contains dark clothing,
surrounded by strangers in a huge place.
HOPE
Hope follows us everywhere we go,
wearing an invisible outfit,
clinging to our every need.
LIVE
Live life to the fullest.
Never regret the past,
and always look forward to the future,
but be in the present 24/7.
SUN
The warmth of the sun on my face,
as the day begins anew.
It’s radiant color filling any empty space.
GRADUATION
A time for new beginnings a time to move on.
The day is a special moment for everyone.
On this day,
you and I are one.
A time to stop judgment and hate towards others,
on this day of graduation.

Follow your own style.
Be yourself by expressing who you really are.
